Jade’s basic vegan advice


Turn your attention to whole foods. “Stay to fruits, vegetables, grains, and legumes,” she advises. “They fill you and are nutrient-dense.”
Use plant-based proteins. My basic foods include chickpeas, tofu, lentils, and quinoa.

Ahead of time, plan. To keep on target during hectic periods, Jade stocks lentils soups, vegetable stir-fries, and quinoa salads.

Breakfast calls for a smoothie created with frozen berries, almond milk, spinach, and a scoop of vegan protein powder.
