Like Livia, sculpted legs with basic moves for a slim, defined look

Livia’s secret to her lean, defined legs is not only about working out—it’s about clever, focused workouts you can do anywhere.

Livia’s leg-toning sequence provides the ideal combination of strength and flexibility if you want to tone and shape your legs.

“I’ve always thought of strength and stretch as in harmony,” Livia says. “Your body should remain flexible and balanced in addition to developing muscles.”

Livia uses these leg-toning techniques most often:

1. Lunges aimed towards stability and strength

Livia’s preferred method for toning her legs and improving balance are lunges. Targeting the quads, hamstrings, and glutes, they give your legs that strong, sculpted appearance. Keeping your core tight, try three sets of fifteen lunges on each leg.

2. Squats for Toning Full-Leg

For maximum toning of the legs, nothing compares to the squat. Liva advises deep squats to work the thighs and glues.

“Squats are absolutely essential.” My legs now look different, she notes. To fully feel the heat, try for three sets of twenty repetitions.

3. Leg lifts aimed at definition

Livia swears by leg lifts for those neat, sculpted thighs. Lie on your side and raise each leg three sets of fifteen times. This workout targets the outer thighs, so helping to shape and trim the legs.

4. Stretching to Longthen

Livia often ends her practice with a good stretch to elongate her muscles. “Stretching is very important,” she says. It protects your muscles from feeling overly tight and aids in their recovery.
