Mornings are precious to Lily Ward. She is a wellness coach and thinks your morning behavior sets the tone for everything else.
“A good morning routine doesn’s not have to be complicated,” Lily says. “It’s about developing practices that feed your mind and body.”
1. Moversion First Issue. Lily gets up and swears by a long glass of water mixed with lemon right away. “It helps my body flush toxins and wakes me,” she explains.
2. Movement of Your Body. One can change things even just ten minutes of movement. Lily says, “I do a fast yoga flow or go for a walk around the block. “It’s about consistency not about intensity.”
3. Complementary Breakfast. Lily usually has a smoothie loaded with spinach, banana, almond milk, and a scoop of protein powder. “It’s quick, wholesome, and keeps me full until lunch.” She explains.
4. Practice in Mindfulness. Lily notes, “Five minutes of deep breathing or journaling helps me stay grounded.” “Although a little step, it has a great influence.”
Anyone may create an energy- and focus-promoting morning ritual using Lily’s ideas. “Start small,” she exhorts. ” Even one habit can make a big difference.”
