Arielle Frost’s Easy Clean Eating Snacks for Kids

Arielle Frost, a mother of two romping boys, understands the value of a good snack. She also understands how difficult it may be to locate choices that satisfy children and are good for them.

Like many parents, she formerly depended on the ease of pre-packaged sweets; but, she realised it was time to change after reading one too many ingredient labels.

“I didn’t want to be the mother always declining,” Arielle adds. “I wanted to present better choices they would really like to eat.”

Rather of resisting the appetites of her children for snacks, Arielle became inventive. She started seeing snacks as fuel, not filler, as little meals.

She utilised what she had—apples, yoghurt, almonds, cheese, and whole grain bread—not turning the kitchen into a research lab. She began creating fun-looking, taste-good treats devoid of sugar crashes with a little thought.

Her invitation of her children into the process was the true turning point. Making the snack became exciting whether it was piling vegetable slices into small towers or spreading almond butter on apple slices. The children felt participating, but more significantly they felt in charge.

For Arielle, clean eating is more about not striving perfection. It comes about consistency. She promotes balance rather than calling things “bad” or outlawing sugary delicacies.

She provides something fresh later if they have had anything sweet. Her approach is based on trust: confidence that, given the right environment, children may acquire healthy food instincts.

She chuckles, not expecting her children to eat like wellness experts. “I simply want them to grow knowing what food can do for them.”
