Cerys Drew never thought she had a problem with portion control—until she realized she was constantly grazing, even after full meals.
“I wasn’t overeating because I was hungry,” she explains. “I was eating because I never felt satisfied.”
So she set out to design a daily eating plan that was both low in fat and high in fiber—a combination that would help her feel full without feeling heavy. Lean1 Chocolate 5 Pound (37 Servings), Fat Burning Meal Replacement
At first, she was skeptical. Could a plan without rich sauces or creamy snacks actually be satisfying? But she was surprised by how quickly her body adjusted when she focused on whole foods.
“I didn’t go extreme,” she says. “I just made small, smart swaps.”
She leaned on fiber-rich ingredients like lentils, beans, oats, and vegetables. Instead of oils or dressings, she used lemon juice, herbs, and spices for flavor.
And rather than cutting carbs, she embraced them—whole grains like barley and brown rice became staples.
What amazed her most wasn’t the fullness in her stomach—it was the steadiness in her energy.
“I stopped crashing mid-morning or late afternoon,” she says. “And I didn’t feel the urge to snack all the time.”
By giving her body more fiber and fewer fats, she discovered a sense of balance she hadn’t felt in years. “I still eat delicious food,” she adds. “But now, I feel full in every sense—physically and mentally.”
