Jade Kelly enjoys desserts, but she is aware of how difficult it can be to maintain a healthy lifestyle while yet satisfying her sweet craving.
She acknowledges, “I thought I’d have to give up my favorite treats when I went gluten-free.” “But I’ve found a ton of incredible recipes!”
Almond flour brownies are among Jade’s favorite foods. She says, “They’re rich, fudgy, and totally gluten-free.” The key? For a healthier variation, use a mixture of coconut sugar and almond flour.
She also enjoys making oatmeal cookies without gluten. “I use dark chocolate chips, peanut butter, and rolled oats,” she says. “They are ideal for a snack because they are chewy.”
Jade makes a nutty-crust no-bake cheesecake for special occasions. She claims that although it is creamy and decadent, it is far lighter than conventional ones.
Jade suggests trying gluten-free flours such as tapioca starch or rice flour. “What you can create will astound you,” she says. “Nutritious desserts don’t have to be dull!”
