Kaia Lennon’s Heart-Healthy Pasta Dishes You’ll Love

Kaia Lennon grew up in an Italian-American household where pasta was practically its own food group. From childhood memories of Sunday marinara to weeknight bowls of creamy Alfredo, pasta was a constant.

But when her father was diagnosed with high blood pressure and cholesterol, Kaia began rethinking those beloved family recipes.

What surprised her was how little she had to give up. “I thought heart-healthy meant bland,” she says, “but once I started learning about ingredients, I realized it’s more about how you prepare your food than what you can’t eat.”

Instead of heavy creams or processed sauces, Kaia turned to olive oil, roasted vegetables, and herbs like basil and oregano.

She began using whole grain or lentil-based pasta, not only for their fiber content but for the way they helped stabilize blood sugar and keep meals feeling light yet satisfying.

One of her favorites is a garlic and spinach pasta tossed in a lemony olive oil blend, topped with walnuts for added crunch.

“It’s earthy, comforting, and still feels like home,” Kaia explains. She also began incorporating more tomatoes—not just for flavor, but for their lycopene, a compound shown to support cardiovascular health.Thermogenic Fat Burner Brazilian Lean, Weight Loss Pills for Women, Waist Trimmer & Supplements for Bloating for Women & Men

As her kitchen evolved, so did her family’s perspective. Her dad, initially resistant, now requests her roasted red pepper penne whenever she visits.

“It’s food that loves you back,” Kaia says, smiling. “And isn’t that what heart-healthy eating should be?”
