Poppy’s outdoor workouts center on bodyweight activities suitable for any location—from a park to your home. Her preferred moves are shown here:

  • Walking Lunges: Great for your legs and glutes, walking lunges also improve balance.
  • Park Bench Dips: A simple yet effective way to target your triceps using a park bench.

  • Burpees: A full-body exercise that gets your heart rate up while strengthening your core, legs, and arms.

  • Stair Sprints: If you’re near a set of stairs, Poppy recommends sprinting up and walking down to build stamina.

  • Tree Planks: Use a tree or any stable surface to plank against, engaging your core and upper body.

“Nature is the best workout partner—no equipment needed!” she says. Poppy advocates using your surroundings—that is, a pair of stairs for sprints or a park seat for dips. ”

It’s all about getting creative and maximizing what’s around you.”

Poppy advises varying the locations of your workouts for folks who like things fresh. She continues, smiling, “Go for a hike one day, do yoga in the park the next—it’s a great way to stay motivated.”
