Reducing sugar does not imply you will lose your sweet taste. Nutritionist Aria Morris lists her favourite tasty and healthful no-added-sugar snacks.
“Natural sweet from fruits and wholesome ingredients can be just as satisfying,” Aria notes.
Nice Cream Made from Banana Names. “Blend frozen bananas with a drizz of almond milk. For added taste, toss chocolate powder or peanut butter; it’s like having ice cream without the guilt!
Stuffed Dates topped with almond butter. “Dates are nature’s candy,” Aria notes. “Make a quick, decadent snack filling them with almond butter and sprinkle some shredded coconut.”
Chia pudding. “Let almond milk soak overnight mixed with chia seeds. Top with fresh berries or, if necessary, a drizz of honey,” she advises.
Apple Pastries. “Slice apples thinly; drizzle with almond butter; top with chopped nuts or dark chocolate chips. Making and consuming is enjoyable!
