Want to torch your upper body in thirty minutes? Help is available from fitness professionals Denise and Katie Austin.
Your arms, shoulders, and back will be stronger than ever thanks to a basic yet powerful dumbbell arm workout this mother-daughter team has created.
“Staying consistent and challenging yourself will help you to develop upper body strength,” Katie advises. “You can get toned arms and a stronger upper body with only a pair of dumbbells and some will.”
The 30-minute dumbbell arm work out
To keep things interesting, this program combines inventive manoeuvres with traditional arm workouts. Among the exercises you will work on are:
Bicep curls: A staple in any arm workout, curls help build strength and definition in your arms.
Tricep kickbacks: These target the often-overlooked triceps, helping to tone the back of your arms.
Shoulder presses: Strengthening your shoulders not only helps your arms but also improves posture.
Dumbbell rows: Great for engaging your back muscles and enhancing overall upper body strength.
For a full, upper-body burn, the Austins advise doing each movement for roughly 12 to 15 repetitions and repeating the circuit three to four times.
Why This Exercise Is Effective
“Dumbbells have beauty in their adaptability,” Denise says. “You can always change the weight to fit your fitness level regardless of your degree of experience.”
Regular practice can help you strengthen, more shaped arms, increase your general upper body endurance, and feel successful from this 30-minute workout. So pick up your dumbbells and begin shaping right now!
